About the Role:
Within Connectivity Platform in R&D, we build products that enhances the customer experience of owning a car. Our teams develop connectivity products and services for our vehicles – connecting anywhere and anytime!
We are looking for people to strengthen our SW Release team within Connectivity Platform, be the driver for software release and configuration to support software and documentation deliveries from Connectivity Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Software release activities:
- SW signing and SW release towards milestones
- Release SW Part Numbers and Documentation for every SW release milestone
- SUMS SW package manifest, Loadfiles manifest, Compliance Report
- Ensure Carcom and SDB diagnostic signal database are aligned
- Facilitating SW release approvals, deviations etc.
Supplier management:
- Supplier SW release planning
- Supplier SW backlog management
- Supplier SW delivery follow-up
- QOP / Finance topics follow-up
- Supplier SW Joint Review (SWJR)
Factory and Aftermarket support:
- Support Factory and Aftermarket through deviations
- Support SW release in factory
New project support:
- Support sourcing process and documentation
- SWRS for BaseTech and Application (SWRS = Software Requirement Specification)
Requirements:
We are looking for you with at least a BSc degree in Software Engineering, or similar.
You have strong passion and competence of SW release and configuration management in automotive industry, familiar with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), SW variants management, SW branches management, and SW release documentation.
You have strong technical background and communication skills that allow you to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, help the organization to improve the process and quality of SW release and configuration management continuously.

The teams and suppliers we work with are based around the globe, therefore we see that you are fluent in the English language, a good communicator and enjoy collaboration far outside your team. You take ownership in your work and able to manage uncertainty and problems that do not have clear solution and outcome. The working location is Lindholmen in Gothenburg, Sweden.
