About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced AI Governance & Compliance Lead to support the implementation of the EU AI Act and other relevant regulatory frameworks. This strategic role is central to establishing an ethical, transparent, and compliant approach to AI development and deployment within a forward-looking digital transformation environment. As part of a specialized Data Governance and Compliance team, you will collaborate with legal, technical, and operational stakeholders to translate complex regulations into practical solutions and ensure alignment with broader data and AI strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of AI governance frameworks in alignment with the EU AI Act.
- Define and implement internal policies, guidelines, and processes for AI compliance and risk management.
- Interpret AI-related regulations (EU AI Act, GDPR, EU Data Act) and apply them within data-driven systems and product development cycles.
- Collaborate with Legal, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure AI systems are auditable, explainable, and accountable.
- Design and facilitate training programs to raise awareness and promote responsible AI practices.
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and advise leadership on potential strategic and operational implications.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Law, Engineering, or a related field (LL.M, JD, MSc, or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of AI technologies and the associated legal and regulatory landscape.
- Demonstrated experience in compliance, legal advisory, or governance roles, preferably within the automotive or technology sector.
- Proven ability to operationalize complex regulatory requirements into actionable frameworks and product-level guidance.
- Experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Change Management.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience working with the EU AI Act or comparable AI-related regulations.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
