About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll to Finance Expert to lead the end-to-end payroll-to-finance integration within a large-scale Modernized Core HR & Payroll transformation program. This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on ensuring seamless integration between payroll and finance systems, strengthening governance, and establishing robust reconciliation and compliance frameworks. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full payroll-to-finance integration workstream within the Core HR & Payroll modernisation program
Ensure seamless integration between SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (SF ECP) and finance systems
Standardise posting/WTR templates and GL mapping across entities
Design and implement reconciliation logic, controls, and accountability structures
Define and coordinate cutover strategy and balance validation, including fallback planning
Establish governance frameworks, maintain decision logs, and ensure compliance aligned with audit expectations
Collaborate closely with Group HR (People) and Group Finance stakeholders
Drive knowledge transfer and structured handover to the Payroll-to-Finance Process Owner for BAU operations
Lead project teams and coordinate vendors and key stakeholders
Requirements:
Strong expertise in accounting and controlling, including:
General Ledger (GL)
Chart of Accounts
Financial reconciliations
Proven experience with:
SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (SF ECP)
SAP ECC and/or other finance systems
SAP ECC/ECP reporting
Demonstrated experience in payroll-to-finance integration projects
Solid project management capabilities
Experience leading project teams
Strong governance and decision-making experience
Risk-aware mindset with strong compliance orientation
Vendor and stakeholder management expertise
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Professional proficiency in English
Experience in large-scale HR/payroll transformation programs
Background working in multinational or matrix organisations
Knowledge of audit processes and regulatory requirements
Familiarity with modern finance and HR system landscapes
Change management experience
