About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to join a multidisciplinary team working within driver-vehicle interaction and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development in a highly design-driven environment.You will collaborate closely with teams in industrial design, ergonomics, UX, prototyping, systems engineering, and design quality, all working toward a shared goal: delivering an outstanding and intuitive driver experience.The development environment focuses on digiphysical solutions, integrating digital interfaces with physical vehicle systems. The assignment spans development, scaling, and industrialization phases, where agile practices must be effectively adapted to complex product development contexts.
In this role, you will act as a Scrum Master within HMI development, enabling and strengthening agile ways of working across cross-functional teams.You will act as a servant leader and agile coach, supporting the team in delivering high-quality solutions while maintaining flow, collaboration, and continuous improvement. A key part of your role will be balancing agile principles with the demands of industrial product development, safety, and quality requirements.The organization is undergoing an agile transformation, and you will contribute to shaping and evolving working methods, including the ongoing implementation of the SAFe framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate and support agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups)
Act as Scrum Master for cross-functional HMI development teams
Foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
Support teams in scaling from development into implementation and industrialization phases
Coordinate cross-functional R&D efforts across software, UX, systems, and validation domains
Contribute to agile transformation initiatives and SAFe adoption
Create structure and clarity in complex and ambiguous environments
Enable effective communication between technical, design, and business stakeholders
Coach teams toward increased autonomy, predictability, and delivery efficiency
Requirements:
Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Technical Design, Engineering, or equivalent field
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in complex product development environments
Strong background in HMI and/or digiphysical development, involving interaction between software, hardware, and system integration
Experience from scaling and implementation phases, including transition from development to industrialization
Experience working in cross-functional R&D teams, including software, UX, systems, and validation
Familiarity with agile transformation initiatives and SAFe framework (preferred)
Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
