About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Engineer to join a dynamic team in Stockholm. This role requires a strong blend of database expertise and application development experience, with a focus on designing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance data systems. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and capable of solving complex technical challenges while collaborating across diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable database solutions
Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and efficient schema design
Collaborate with development teams to integrate database solutions with .NET-based applications
Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and application issues
Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability across systems
Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements for performance and scalability
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to best practices
Requirements:
Strong hands-on development experience with C# and the .NET framework
Deep expertise in relational databases, particularly SQL and PostgreSQL
Proven experience in database design, performance tuning, and optimization
Solid understanding of data modeling, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Self-driven, proactive, and able to take full ownership of tasks and deliverables
