About the Role:
Justera is currently recruiting a Cyber Security Culture Specialist on behalf of one of our key clients in the retail & e-commerce industry.
Our client is a major enterprise operating in the Stockholm metropolitan area, and they are seeking a senior-level specialist to help shape and mature their human-centred security function. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned security awareness professional to operate at a strategic level, advising security leadership, driving cultural change, and designing high-impact programmes that reduce human-related cyber risk across a large and complex organisation. Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and ongoing evolution of the organisation's security culture and awareness strategy
Help define principles, frameworks, and best practices for security learning and awareness
Mentor and support junior specialists in both delivery and professional development
Drive complex, high-impact awareness initiatives and campaigns from concept to execution
Analyse trends in human-related security risk and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Advise security leadership on cultural risks, workforce behaviours, and the effectiveness of awareness programmes
Lead cybersecurity incident-related communication activities from a culture and awareness perspective
Mandatory Requirements:
Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. communications, psychology, organisational behaviour, information security, or L&D)
Minimum 4 years of experience in security culture, awareness, learning, or security communications within an enterprise environment
Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk with a focus on human factors
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change without formal authority
Demonstrated experience mentoring others and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
Full professional proficiency in English
Nice to Have:
SANS SSAP (Security Awareness and Culture Professional) certification
Advanced training in awareness programme design or human risk management
Prosci change management certification (applied experience valued)
Background in behavioural science or related coursework
Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry
Familiarity with data-driven approaches to measuring awareness effectiveness
Swedish language skills
Logistics:
Start Date: As soon as possible (assignment start 8 June 2026)
Duration: 10–12 months (through 30 June 2027)
Location: On-site in Stockholm (4 days per week on client premises)
Allocation: 100%, full-time
Other: This is a consulting assignment placed through Justera on behalf of our end client.
