About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support business transformation initiatives within a complex financial services environment. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in post-trade products, services, and operations, combined with strong analytical capabilities and extensive experience translating business and regulatory requirements into structured, implementable solutions.
In this role, you will lead business analysis activities, ensuring requirements are clearly documented, aligned with system capabilities, and effectively support successful delivery. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, operations, compliance, and IT teams to drive process improvements and enable data-driven decision-making in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for strategic initiatives within financial services.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in a clear, structured, and actionable manner.
Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into practical operational and system solutions.
Work closely with business, operations, compliance, and technology teams to ensure successful implementation.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, operational inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Support regulatory and compliance-related initiatives through impact analysis and requirements management.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement validation sessions.
Ensure business requirements are aligned with technical capabilities and project delivery objectives.
Drive continuous improvements in business processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Several years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of post-trade products, services, and operational processes.
Proven experience working on regulatory and compliance-driven initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured, and implementation-ready business requirements.
Strong analytical skills with experience handling large and complex datasets.
Experience working in cross-functional environments involving business, operations, compliance, and IT stakeholders.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
Strong problem-solving ability with a structured and analytical approach.
Professional proficiency required in Swedish and English
Preferred Experience
Experience leading business transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with process optimization and operational improvement methodologies.
Experience working in global and highly regulated financial environments.
Ability to bridge business needs with technology solutions and delivery teams.
