About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Service Operations Specialist to support the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of customer-facing technology solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an operations professional who thrives in high-pressure situations, brings structure to complex incidents, and enjoys improving the way teams operate. You will take a leading role in major incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, and operational improvement.
Working closely with DevOps teams, Engineering and Delivery Managers, technical leads, and customer-facing stakeholders, you will help ensure reliable services and strong operational performance across a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead major incidents as Incident Commander and act as the primary operational point of contact.
Coordinate cross-functional teams during critical incidents to restore services quickly and effectively.
Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Problem Management activities to prevent recurring incidents.
Ensure operational processes are consistently followed and continuously improved.
Coordinate operational priorities with engineering teams and key stakeholders.
Identify, assess, manage, and escalate operational risks, dependencies, and impediments.
Lead operational improvement initiatives, including the introduction of new tools, processes, and ways of working.
Support operational planning and initiatives aimed at improving service quality, reliability, and performance.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear, structured communication.
Contribute hands-on to day-to-day operational activities when required.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational ownership, and service reliability.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in IT Operations, Service Operations, Technical Support, SRE, or a similar operational environment.
Experience coordinating operational activities across multiple teams.
Proven experience managing high-impact incidents involving multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in:
Incident Management
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Problem Management
IT Operations
DevOps/SRE environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing operational demands.
Experience working in cross-functional Agile and/or DevOps organizations.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Professional proficiency in English.
