About the Role:
We are now looking for a Data Engineer. You will join a team building digital products that provide performance insights across Customer Meeting Points (CMPs) and franchisees. The goal is to consolidate data from multiple business systems into trusted, scalable, and automated data products supporting reporting, analytics, governance, business decision-making, and continuous improvement.
As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain automated data solutions for CMP and Franchisee Performance Evaluation products. You will help transform manual and fragmented reporting into a reliable, centralized analytics ecosystem, ensuring data accuracy, validation, version control, and auditability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain automated, scalable data solutions for CMP and Franchisee Performance Evaluation.
Work across the full data engineering lifecycle, from ideation, architecture, and requirements to development, testing, deployment, and operational follow-up.
Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and serving layers for both batch and streaming data.
Work with data modelling and lakehouse architecture best practices.
Connect and consolidate data from multiple business systems into a unified and reliable data ecosystem.
Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, performance optimization, troubleshooting, version control, and auditability.
Contribute to technical design, estimation, sprint planning, documentation, and deployment.
Build clean, scalable, resilient, reusable, and cost-efficient data solutions using cloud-native technologies.
Communicate data architectures, pipelines, and technical trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines, including batch and streaming data.
Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Apache Spark, Delta Lake, job orchestration, performance tuning, and environment management.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage.
Solid understanding of data modelling and lakehouse architecture.
Experience with DevOps practices, including Git/source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, environment promotion, and Infrastructure as Code.
Strong understanding of data engineering guidelines, release processes, data validation, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
Comfortable contributing to solution design and working throughout the complete data engineering lifecycle.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Microsoft Azure – including Azure Data Lake Storage.
DevOps & CI/CD – version control, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
