About the Role:
Justera Group AB is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer for an exciting assignment with one of our clients in Sweden.
You will play a key role in building scalable, reliable and high-performance data pipelines within a modern Data & Analytics environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about cloud data engineering, data architecture and delivering high-quality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Build and optimize data transformations using SQL, dbt and Jinja.
Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Work with BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Cloud Run Services, Cloud Run Jobs and Cloud Build.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
Support event-driven data processing using Kafka or similar technologies.
Design and optimize data warehouse models using dimensional modelling principles such as Kimball.
Ensure data quality, performance, reliability and maintainability.
Collaborate with architects, developers and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
✅ Strong hands-on experience with SQL, dbt and Jinja
✅ Excellent experience with Terraform
✅ Solid experience with GCP and BigQuery
✅ Experience with Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Cloud Run and Cloud Build
✅ Strong knowledge of GitHub and CI/CD
✅ Experience with Kafka or equivalent event-streaming technologies
✅ Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Kimball modelling
✅ Experience in BigQuery and data pipeline performance optimization
✅ Fluent English communication skills
Nice to Have
Python programming
IAM and cloud platform administration
AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude
Swedish language proficiency
